This exterior environment scene is heavily inspired by grimdark sci-fi themes. Inspiration were drawn from religious settings of war-torn wastelands, catholic structures, and gothic architecture.
Narratives from popular tabletop game designs, as well as tabletop set pieces, were drawn from both Warhammer 40k and Trench Crusade.
